In the last week of June, Francois, Jos and Leonardo flew to Carros (France) to present Zedelef’s optical telemetry system to Schneider Electric. Shane Ayerst from Schneider Electric Australia introduced the technology to his French colleagues, while Zedelef’s team showed the demo. Big thanks to our friends at Ampcontrol, who provided their H3RO optical network. Zedelef + H3RO[…]
Zedelef was present with a stand at the CRC Showcase in the Great Hall of the Parliament House in Canberra. On the 24th of May, Francois and Leonardo travelled to Canberra to showcase Zedelef’s technology to politicians and colleagues.
Thanks to everyone who visited us at the UNSW Innovation Summit! Check out some pictures on our media page.

The project “High performance optical telemetry system for ocean monitoring” worth more than A$ 3.2 million has been supported by the government with A$ 764,000 under the Cooperative Research Centres Projects stream of the CRC Programme. The project seeks to develop an optical towed array sonar based on Zedelef’s transducers and it is a collaboration[…]
Zedelef has closed its second seed funding round. We welcome our new investors, which include Melbourne Angels, Brisbane Angels and Hunter Angels.
The “Zedelef Postgraduate Research Scholarship” has been set up at the School of Electrical Engineering of UNSW. The scholarship is funded by Zedelef and it is valued at $30000 per annum for two years. The recipient, Mr Josiah Firth, will work on the development of a packaging for Zedelef’s liquid crystal based optical transducers.
NewSouth Innovation (NSi), the has assigned to Zedelef the IP protecting its core “optical voltage sensing” technology. This technology, originally developed at the University of New South Wales by Zedelef’s founders, was initially licensed by NSi to Zedelef under the novel “Easy Access IP” scheme. Following the assignment, Zedelef has now full control of the[…]
